By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may use cookies and similar technologies as described in this Cookie Policy. For users in the EEA and UK, we will seek your consent for non-essential cookies where required by applicable law, and you may withdraw or adjust your consent preferences at any time through the app settings or as described in Section 6 below.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites or applications you visit or use. They are widely used to make websites and applications work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of those services. Cookies can be "session cookies" (which expire when you close your browser or app) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device until they expire or are deleted).
In addition to cookies, we and our partners may use other tracking technologies, including:
Collectively, we refer to all of these technologies as "Tracking Technologies" throughout this Cookie Policy.
We categorize the Tracking Technologies we use into four types, described below. Not all categories are currently in use; we reserve the right to introduce additional Tracking Technologies consistent with this Cookie Policy at any time.
| Category | Description | Examples of Use | Consent Required (EEA/UK) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary Required |
Essential for the Service to function. Cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. | Authentication tokens; session management; security; fraud prevention; load balancing | No — these are necessary for the Service and do not require consent |
| Functional Functional |
Enable enhanced features and personalization. Not strictly necessary but improve your experience. | Remembering preferences and settings; language and display preferences; in-app state persistence | Yes — we will seek consent where required by applicable law |
| Analytics Analytics |
Help us understand how the Service is used, measure performance, and improve our products. | Usage analytics; A/B testing; crash and error reporting; performance monitoring; session recording | Yes — we will seek consent where required by applicable law |
| Advertising Advertising |
Used to deliver targeted advertising, measure ad effectiveness, and support our commercial relationships with advertising partners. Not currently in use but reserved for future implementation. | Interest-based advertising; ad frequency capping; attribution measurement; retargeting | Yes — we will seek explicit consent before using advertising Tracking Technologies |
We work with third-party companies who may set Tracking Technologies on the Service on our behalf or for their own purposes. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing their use of the data they collect. We do not control and are not responsible for the Tracking Technologies or privacy practices of these third parties.
Our current and potential third-party technology partners whose Tracking Technologies may be used in connection with the Service include, without limitation:
We may update our third-party partners from time to time without prior notice to you. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services with whom we work.
We use Tracking Technologies for the following purposes, among others:
You can manage certain Tracking Technology preferences through the settings menu within the Invitrr app. For EEA and UK users, we provide a consent management interface that allows you to accept, reject, or customize your preferences for non-essential Tracking Technologies. You may change your preferences at any time.
Your mobile device operating system may provide controls that allow you to limit certain types of tracking:
If you disable or restrict certain Tracking Technologies, some features of the Service may not function correctly or at all. In particular, disabling strictly necessary cookies or technologies will prevent you from using the Service. We are not responsible for any degraded experience resulting from your choice to restrict Tracking Technologies.
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals to websites. We do not currently alter our data collection or use practices in response to "Do Not Track" signals because there is no industry-agreed standard for what such signals should mean or how they should be interpreted.
Data collected through Tracking Technologies is retained for periods consistent with the purposes for which it was collected, as described in our Privacy Policy. Session-based Tracking Technologies expire at the end of your browser or app session. Persistent Tracking Technologies may remain on your device until they expire according to their set duration or until you delete them through your device settings. Analytics and behavioral data collected through SDKs and similar technologies is retained in accordance with our general data retention practices.
We may update this Cookie Policy at any time. We will post the updated Cookie Policy on our website and update the "Last Updated" date. For EEA and UK users, material changes to our use of non-essential Tracking Technologies that require consent will be communicated through our consent management interface. Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
