1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Nohmit Incorporated ("Invitrr," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with the Invitrr mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Cookie Policy forms part of and is incorporated into our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings set out in the Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may use cookies and similar technologies as described in this Cookie Policy. For users in the EEA and UK, we will seek your consent for non-essential cookies where required by applicable law, and you may withdraw or adjust your consent preferences at any time through the app settings or as described in Section 6 below.

2. What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites or applications you visit or use. They are widely used to make websites and applications work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of those services. Cookies can be "session cookies" (which expire when you close your browser or app) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device until they expire or are deleted).

In addition to cookies, we and our partners may use other tracking technologies, including:

  • Software Development Kits (SDKs): pieces of code embedded in our mobile application that allow us and third parties to collect data about how the app is used, including usage analytics and advertising measurement
  • Pixel tags and web beacons: small transparent images or code snippets embedded in emails or web pages that allow us to track whether emails have been opened and to measure engagement
  • Log files: files that record events, errors, and other activity within the Service, including information such as IP addresses, device type, browser type, and pages visited
  • Local storage: mechanisms built into mobile operating systems that allow data to be stored on your device between sessions, used for features such as remembering preferences and maintaining session state
  • Advertising identifiers: resettable identifiers provided by mobile operating systems (such as Apple's Identifier for Advertising, or "IDFA") that allow advertisers and analytics providers to track ad engagement and attribution across applications

Collectively, we refer to all of these technologies as "Tracking Technologies" throughout this Cookie Policy.

3. Categories of Tracking Technologies We Use

We categorize the Tracking Technologies we use into four types, described below. Not all categories are currently in use; we reserve the right to introduce additional Tracking Technologies consistent with this Cookie Policy at any time.

4. Third-Party Tracking Technologies

We work with third-party companies who may set Tracking Technologies on the Service on our behalf or for their own purposes. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing their use of the data they collect. We do not control and are not responsible for the Tracking Technologies or privacy practices of these third parties.

Our current and potential third-party technology partners whose Tracking Technologies may be used in connection with the Service include, without limitation:

  • Analytics providers: companies that help us understand how the Service is used, including crash reporting services and performance monitoring tools
  • Infrastructure and security providers: companies whose technologies help us deliver, secure, and optimize the Service
  • Authentication providers: Apple Inc. and Google LLC, whose sign-in SDKs are integrated into the Service and are subject to their respective privacy policies
  • Advertising technology providers: if and when we introduce advertising, we may integrate SDKs and technologies from advertising networks and measurement companies

We may update our third-party partners from time to time without prior notice to you. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services with whom we work.

5. How We Use Tracking Technologies

We use Tracking Technologies for the following purposes, among others:

  • Authentication and security: to verify your identity, maintain the security of your session, and protect against fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Service operation: to enable core features of the Service, including event discovery, in-app messaging, push notifications, and account management
  • Personalization: to remember your preferences, customize the content and features shown to you, and improve the relevance of your experience
  • Analytics and performance: to understand how users interact with the Service, identify areas for improvement, measure the performance of features, and conduct A/B tests
  • Machine learning: to collect usage and behavioral data that is used to train and improve our recommendation algorithms and other machine learning systems
  • Advertising measurement: to measure the effectiveness of promotional content and, if and when we introduce advertising, to support the delivery of targeted advertising
  • Bug tracking and crash reporting: to identify and resolve technical issues that affect your experience

6. Your Choices and Controls

6.1 App-Level Controls

You can manage certain Tracking Technology preferences through the settings menu within the Invitrr app. For EEA and UK users, we provide a consent management interface that allows you to accept, reject, or customize your preferences for non-essential Tracking Technologies. You may change your preferences at any time.

6.2 Device-Level Controls

Your mobile device operating system may provide controls that allow you to limit certain types of tracking:

  • iOS (Apple): Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to control which apps can request to track you. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising to limit ad personalization
  • Advertising Identifier Reset: You can reset your device's advertising identifier at any time through your device settings, which limits the ability of advertisers to associate your activity across different apps
  • Location: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services to control which apps have access to your location

6.3 Effect of Disabling Tracking Technologies

If you disable or restrict certain Tracking Technologies, some features of the Service may not function correctly or at all. In particular, disabling strictly necessary cookies or technologies will prevent you from using the Service. We are not responsible for any degraded experience resulting from your choice to restrict Tracking Technologies.

6.4 Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals to websites. We do not currently alter our data collection or use practices in response to "Do Not Track" signals because there is no industry-agreed standard for what such signals should mean or how they should be interpreted.

7. Retention of Data Collected Through Tracking Technologies

Data collected through Tracking Technologies is retained for periods consistent with the purposes for which it was collected, as described in our Privacy Policy. Session-based Tracking Technologies expire at the end of your browser or app session. Persistent Tracking Technologies may remain on your device until they expire according to their set duration or until you delete them through your device settings. Analytics and behavioral data collected through SDKs and similar technologies is retained in accordance with our general data retention practices.

8. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy at any time. We will post the updated Cookie Policy on our website and update the "Last Updated" date. For EEA and UK users, material changes to our use of non-essential Tracking Technologies that require consent will be communicated through our consent management interface. Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
