Invitrr
Community Guidelines
Last Updated: March 28, 2026
These Guidelines apply to every interaction on Invitrr — profiles,
events, messages, and in-person behavior. Violations may result in
content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent
ban. Severe violations will be reported to law enforcement.
Invitrr exists to help people connect through real-world events. That
only works if every member feels safe, respected, and treated honestly.
These Guidelines set the standard. They are not suggestions — they are
rules.
1. Be Authentic
Invitrr is built on real identity. Fake profiles destroy trust for
everyone.
- Use your real name and real photos. Your primary profile photo must
clearly show your face.
- Do not impersonate any person, organization, celebrity, or public
figure.
- Do not misrepresent your age, location, occupation, or intentions.
- Do not use AI-generated, digitally altered, or stock photos as your
profile photo.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban is
a permanent ban on all accounts.
2. Respect Everyone
- Communicate with respect, even in disagreement.
- Do not harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or demean any user.
- Do not send unsolicited sexual messages, photos, or video.
- Do not make comments targeting someone's race, ethnicity, religion,
gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, national origin, or
body.
- Rejection is a normal part of this platform. Accept it gracefully.
Do not respond with anger, insults, or retaliation.
- If someone does not respond or stops responding, do not continue
contacting them.
- Do not contact someone who has blocked you through any other method
or channel.
3. Host Responsibly
- Events must be real, accurately described, and legally compliant.
- Do not create events you do not intend to host.
- Do not use events as a pretext to collect personal information from
attendees.
- Respect every confirmed attendee. Honor your commitments.
- If you must cancel, do so immediately and notify all confirmed
attendees.
- Do not discriminate in accepting or rejecting requests based on
protected characteristics.
See the Host Policy for complete requirements.
4. Use Safety Features Honestly
- Use Block when you do not want further contact from a user.
- Use Report when you observe a genuine policy violation — not as a
harassment tool or to harm users you simply dislike.
- Use Bailout only when you genuinely feel unsafe or need to leave an
uncomfortable situation. False activations waste volunteer resources
and are a violation of these Guidelines.
- Emergency contacts must be people who have genuinely consented to
the role.
5. Zero Tolerance — Immediate Permanent Ban
The following result in immediate permanent account removal with no
appeal, and will be reported to law enforcement where required by law:
- Any sexual content involving minors (CSAM). We are legally required
to report this to the NCMEC.
- Human trafficking, sexual coercion, or exploitation of any kind.
- Credible threats of physical violence against any person.
- Non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
- Coordinated targeted harassment campaigns.
- Providing fraudulent identity documents or falsified information
during verification.
6. Content Standards
All content on the platform — profiles, photos, event listings, and
messages — must:
- Be accurate and not misleading
- Not contain explicit, graphic, or violent material
- Not promote illegal activity, controlled substances, or weapons
- Not contain spam, promotional solicitations, or affiliate links
without prior written permission from Invitrr
- Not contain personal contact information designed to move
interactions off-platform before a request is accepted
- Not infringe the copyright, trademark, or privacy rights of any
third party
7. Privacy of Others
- Do not share another user's personal information without their
explicit consent (doxxing).
- Do not record, photograph, or film other users without their
knowledge and consent.
- Do not share screenshots of private messages without the consent of
all parties.
- Do not share information about another user's location, workplace,
or daily routine.
8. How We Enforce These Guidelines
8.1 Detection
- User reports reviewed by our Trust and Safety team
- Automated systems that detect patterns associated with harassment,
spam, and prohibited content
- Proactive monitoring of high-risk interactions (e.g., new accounts
with unusual activity patterns)
8.2 Actions We May Take
- Content removal
- Warning issued to account
- Temporary feature restriction
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account ban
- Legal reporting to appropriate authorities
8.3 Appeals
If your content was removed or your account was actioned and you believe
it was in error, you may appeal within 30 days by contacting
safety@invitrr.com. Include your account information and a clear
explanation. We will review and respond within 14 business days. Our
decision on appeal is final.
